Welcome to MyBestGo! These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our platform and services. By using MyBestGo, you agree to these terms, so please read them carefully.

Acceptance of Terms

By using MyBestGo, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, you should not use the app.

Service Description

MyBestGo provides a platform for users to schedule appointments, manage payments, share documents, and communicate with providers.

User Obligations

As a user, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information when creating your account.

  • Respect the privacy and rights of other users.

  • Not engage in any fraudulent or abusive behavior.

Subscription Plans and Billing

MyBestGo offers subscription plans through Stripe, with both paid and free plans available. By selecting a paid plan, you agree to be charged on a recurring basis according to your chosen plan (monthly or yearly).

Free Plan

If you are on the free plan, no charges will apply. You may upgrade to a paid plan at any time.

Plan Downgrades

If you downgrade your subscription plan, you will retain the benefits of your top plan until the next recurring billing cycle. You will not be charged for the new, lower plan until the next billing cycle starts, unless you cancel your subscription entirely.

Payment Terms

Users can set up payment processing for appointments. All payments will be processed securely through our payment partners. Please note that all transactions are subject to applicable Canadian taxes.

For users in Quebec, the applicable sales taxes are:

  • 5% Goods and Services Tax (GST)
  • 9.975% Quebec Sales Tax (QST)

These taxes will be added to your payments as required by Quebec tax laws.

Provider Responsibilities

As a provider using MyBestGo, you are responsible for managing your personnel, sub-calendars, and the content associated with your appointments. MyBestGo is not liable for any actions or data related to your personnel or sub-calendar entries.

You are also responsible for ensuring that all information, including time slots and communication with users, is accurate and up-to-date. MyBestGo provides the platform, but the management of personnel and calendars remains the responsibility of the provider.

Document Upload and Sharing

Users and providers can upload documents and share them with others. It is the responsibility of the user to ensure that the documents uploaded are secure and do not contain sensitive or personal information that could compromise privacy or security.

MyBestGo is not responsible for the content of any documents uploaded to the platform. We recommend that you do not upload documents containing sensitive or highly confidential information.

Payment Handling and Stripe Connect

MyBestGo uses Stripe Connect to facilitate payments between customers and providers. When customers pay for appointments, the money is initially directed to MyBestGo's account and then transferred to the provider's Stripe account. MyBestGo may charge a commission for its services, which will be clearly disclosed to providers at the time of payment.

Refunds and Responsibilities

All refund requests for appointment cancellations or disputes are the responsibility of the provider. MyBestGo does not handle refunds or chargebacks for providers. Any refund given to the customer will be managed by the provider, and MyBestGo is not liable for any transaction disputes between the provider and customer.

Limitation of Liability

MyBestGo is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the app. Users are responsible for ensuring their use of the app complies with all applicable laws.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Users will be notified of any significant changes via email or a notice within the app.

Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to provide services or comply with legal obligations. Once your data is no longer required, it will be securely deleted or anonymized.

For example, appointment data may be retained for a period of time after an appointment is completed for operational or regulatory purposes, but once this period has passed, the data will be removed from our system. Stripe Data Handling

Payments are processed securely through Stripe, and we do not store sensitive payment information like credit card details on our servers. Stripe's privacy practices apply to all transactions made through their platform. For more details on how Stripe handles your data, please refer to Stripe’s Privacy Policy.

When you make payments on MyBestGo, you may be asked to provide payment details, such as credit card information. These details are securely transmitted and processed by Stripe, which complies with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) to protect your information.
